Access to the Grand Motte Glacier is from the Val Claret Area of Val d'Isere however there is a free bus that runs from the Lavachet and Le Lac areas making skiing easily accessible form these areas as well.
The Grande Motte glacier ski area will be open every day from 7h15 to 13h00 from 20th June to 30th August 2009. In the afternoon ski lifts are open for mountain biking if you're interested in this activity. |

Summer ski school: If you are thinking of brushing up on your skiing here in Val d'Isere this summer why not benefit from some discounted ski lessons? Ski Encore is offering at least 25% off private lessons and are running a few group courses over the summer to. The group lessons are orientated towards blue run skiers and red run and coincide with other events happening in Val d'Isere.
